Attack On Titan 
Many years ago, the last remnants of humanity were forced to retreat behind the towering walls of a fortified city to escape the massive, man-eating Titans that roamed the land outside their fortress. Only the heroic members of the Scouting Legion dared to stray beyond the safety of the walls - but even those brave warriors seldom returned alive. Those within the city clung to the illusion of a peaceful existence until the day that dream was shattered, and their slim chance at survival was reduced to one horrifying choice: kill - or be devoured!

The story and the building of the world is the main reason why I really like Attack On Titan. The concept of humanity living in a pig pen in fear of creatures capable of killing them seamlessly is very interesting to me. From the first episode I was hooked to the show. Humanity fighting back againt the Titans in order to gain their freedom while sacrificing numerous lives is something that speaks to me. The sound track of the anime is also very beautiful setting the proper mood for each scene. Although the show can be kind of gory at times, what is being shown is real with high substance. The main characters eternal hate for titans is very much justified after seeing his mother being eaten by a titan right before his eyes. The audience is left rooting heavily for the humans whenever they engage the titans. This anime is one that I would highly recommend because of the intricite storyline it presents. Currently Attack On Titan is my 5th favorite anime.
